I don’t think full grown men like being addressed “boys”
I don’t think anybody likes being called a douche bag by a stranger especially if they’ve been stuck in a line for 3 hours

Did they know who you are? Did they realize they were befriended by an IT girl? Or do you just like going incognito to mingle with the plebs?

Today, I befriended Ron and Dan in the line at the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue. We stood in line together for more than three hours jabbering about our iPhone Fandom. It was quite a triumphant occasion FINALLY being able to purchase an iPhone of our very own. At the checkout there was hugs and elation, Ron even laughed saying “I can’t believe we just high-fived over a phone!”
